Local Tourism Brochure

This assignment specified a saddle stitched tourism brochure that would provide visitors with both useful information and a memento of their visit. We were allowed to select whichever location we wished and were given free rein on presentation, although we were asked to give it a unified theme or style throughout the booklet.
As someone who primarily prefers to illustrate, photography is somewhat outside of my comfort zone particularly when working in a public space.

Finalising the layout of this booklet proved challenging as it had a page limit of 16 so while I would have loved to have included more content, imagery and to give the text on the information pages more breathing space, it became necessary to compromise in places in order to meet the requirements of the brief. In the end feel I managed to strike a balance between content and imagery.
